The rare early photographs of Prince, taken by photographer Robert Whitman, are now available to fans in Japan for the first time.
These are the very images that were sent to record companies and helped Prince secure his first recording contracts…the photographs that marked the true beginning of his legend.
The collection includes:
- 21 black-and-white portrait prints of Prince, each personally signed by Robert Whitman and limited to only 300 copies worldwide.
- 18 large-format contact sheet prints showing every frame from the original negatives, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process that launched a star.
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity bearing the edition number and Robert Whitman’s signature.
